Unpainted C-3PO

This is the first unpainted C-3PO I've seen from the Comics Spain line - it sold at auction with no details about its origin. Is it an error? An unpainted prototype? Its also possible that this item was customized, by having the paint stripped. There are unfortunately no details yet to shed light on this items history. With it coming from Spain via auction, my guess is that it was simply a production piece that was never painted.

Kneesaa: More Paint Errors Surfacing

A couple more paint errors for the Comics Spain Kneesaa figure have surfaced at auction. They sport the same error as previously discussed - the flower stem is painted brown instead of green. The error has only been seen with the yellow flower - but the first sample with a purple flower and the error stem has surfaced.

C-3PO: Rare Bootleg

Most C-3PO bootleg figures (based on the Comics Spain sculpt) are considered uncommon, but this picture, sent in by a viewer is truly rare. The dark green (hard as opposed to rubber) plastic and silver paint combination on this German bootleg is not often seen or available at auction.

Dulok Key Ring Surfaces!

For the first time, a Dulok key ring has surfaced via an auction in Spain. This is the only Dulok I've seen produced / converted in this way thus far. Certainly a rarity, as others like Teebo are more common.

C-3PO: Mystery Bootleg?

A forum user on Rebelscum posted a mystery C-3PO figure that he found in Germany, which appears to be based on the Disney pvc figure sculpt. The copyright was removed, and the figure was molded in white rubber. The figure has articulated arms, and the pegs appear to be part of the sculpt, so a mold was likely created to produce this figure. No information regarding its country of origin, year produced, or who it was created by is known at this time. If you have any details, please feel free to contact me.

C-3PO: Circulated Bootleg

This sample, found on Ebay last year - a C-3PO bootleg figure based on the Comics Spain sculpt. This copy is the more common circulated version that suffers from paint loss, but its still in good condition. Like most Polish / German C-3PO bootlegs, its made of a teal / green colored rubber, and sports gold and blue highlights. Like other bootlegs, it has no copyright markings.
